About these terms

These terms apply when you use ethanol.co.zw (the “site”), operated by Ethanol Digital, a software and AI studio based in Harare, Zimbabwe (registered company name and number to be inserted). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Using the site

• You may view the site and contact us for legitimate business purposes.
• Don’t misuse the site: no attempting to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to it; no scraping, bulk automated requests, or bypassing rate limits; no uploading malicious code.
• Don’t submit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory or that you don’t have the right to share.
• We may limit or block access if we reasonably believe the site is being misused.

The AI assistants

Dowa and Suro are automated chat assistants. They provide general information to help you understand what we do and to pass your enquiry to our team.

• Anything an assistant says about pricing, timelines, scope or what’s possible is indicative only. It is not an offer, a quote, or professional advice, and it does not create a contract. A binding quote is only ever given in a written proposal or agreement signed by us.
• Replies are generated by AI and may be incomplete or wrong. Check anything important with us directly.
• Don’t enter sensitive personal information or other people’s confidential information into the chat. How we handle chat data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Enquiries and quotes

Submitting the contact form or chatting with an assistant does not create any obligation on either side. Work only goes ahead once we agree a scope and terms in writing.

Intellectual property

The site, its content, design, text and branding are owned by Ethanol Digital or its licensors. You may not copy, republish or reuse them without our written permission, beyond normal personal viewing.

Links to other sites

The site may link to third-party websites. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.

Availability

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, and we may change or withdraw features without notice.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ethanol Digital is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or reliance on anything on it (including the AI assistants). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle your information.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date shows the current version; continuing to use the site means you accept the change.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, and the courts of Zimbabwe have jurisdiction. If you use the site as a consumer in another country, this does not remove the protection of any mandatory laws that apply where you live.
